Meet Joseph Kim
My name is Joseph Kim — my students know me as Mr. Kim. I'm an active TDSB high school teacher, a McMaster University biochemistry graduate, and a York University Teachers' College student. I've been tutoring since university, and I've built my practice around one simple goal: making sure students actually understand the material, not just survive the test.
I know what it feels like to be stressed about marks and university applications — because I've been through it recently. That experience shapes how I teach: with patience, strategy, and genuine investment in every student's success.

Accepted as one of 400 candidates from 6,000 applicants — a 7% acceptance rate. Completing full Ontario teacher certification requirements.

Official provincial certification recognizing Mr. Kim as a fully qualified Ontario teacher.
